An elegant washed coffee from the highlands of Guji, Ethiopia.
Produced by Melaka Kumie and sourced from smallholder farmers around Uraga , this Grade 1 coffee is grown at around 2050 metres above sea level . The high altitude, fertile soils and cool mountain climate create the ideal conditions for Ethiopia’s distinctive heirloom varieties .
The coffee is fully washed , with ripe cherries carefully selected, de-pulped and fermented before being washed and dried slowly on raised African beds. This careful process helps preserve the coffee’s clarity and delicate character.
